It all began with a face recognition competition during my undergrad at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where I saw the real-world impact of software. This passion grew stronger at ByteDance, where I worked on TikTok\'s e-commerce platform, helping drive a 200% increase in GMV by optimizing product search and personalization features.
