About Qigui Weng
I am a fourth-year undergraduate at Rutgers University - New Brunswick, pursuing a major in Computer Science (BS) with a minor in Data Science. I have a strong passion for discovering and learning new tools and technologies to solve complex challenges in the computing field.My experience at Cubist Systematic Strategies gave me exposure to solving complex technical challenges and real-world applications in quantitative finance. Working closely with quantitative trading teams, I had to build and optimize data pipelines, building web pages using Plotly Dash, and develop visualization tools to present large datasets in a clear, actionable manner.Furthermore, I have won a prediction model competition hosted by the Co-Director of Rutgers\' Data Science Department: https://data101.cs.rutgers.edu/?q=quinlans-2024
