My teams manage access, lifecycle and streaming platforms of Alexa\'s data storage layer, which hosts all data used for machine learning in Alexa and other device businesses. We operate some of the largest scale distributed systems at Amazon with millions of requests per second and handle data with highest security and privacy standards. These challenges require us to constantly push AWS services to their scaling limits and innovate in software design and architecture. We are building the next generation of Alexa’s storage platform, optimizing for the latest ML techniques being used by hundreds of Alexa\'s Applied Scientists, and allow Alexa end customers to manage their data with transparancy.
