ABOUT QI GUO

With over 9 years of experience in user experience research, I am passionate about creating immersive and engaging learning experiences using virtual and augmented reality. As a User Experience Researcher at Bosch Digital, I led end-to-end UX research across diverse domains, including cloud services and virtual reality. I employed both qualitative and quantitative methods for global research projects, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to implement research-driven strategies. I also conducted user-centric workshops, fostering a user-first approach within the organization.Prior to that, I was an Academic Researcher at the University of Stuttgart, where I investigated learning and training experiences using VR/AR. I developed and deployed VR/AR training solutions for diverse audiences, coordinated partnerships to implement performance and learning solutions, and translated findings into impactful presentations and publications.I hold a PhD in Technology Didactics from the University of Stuttgart, a Master of Education from the Beijing Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Engineering from the South China University of Technology. I have also earned multiple certifications and honors in UX design, data analysis, and VR/AR learning scenarios.I am proficient in Figma, HTC Vive, and three languages: German, English, and Chinese. I am always eager to learn new tools and techniques to enhance my UX research skills and deliver innovative solutions that meet user needs and expectations.
