ABOUT QAYYAH MOYNIHAN

I\'m a voiceover artist and producer – I\'ve presented on various Insider series, including So Expensive, Still Standing, Deep Cleaned, and Big Batches. I\'ve previously presented on The Refresh, Wirral Radio, and Pure FM; I\'ve worked at BBC Radio Cornwall. I\'m skilled with Adobe Audition and Adobe Premiere, with experience in video and audio editing. Prior to my current role, I worked as an editor and reporter across all of Insider\'s beats, from science and tech to health and lifestyle. I\'ve interviewed, translated, transcribed, and interpreted between English, French, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese; I studied Spanish, French, and Italian both at the Sorbonne University and the University of Liverpool. My first role in journalism was in Spain, as a reporter for SUR in English – I wrote original reports, as well as translating Spanish-language stories from Diario SUR into English. I\'m currently studying Japanese and Russian; I recite Fusha Arabic and speak broken Urdu. I\'m proficient with various CMS, Google Sheets and Docs, Microsoft, and have experience in frontpage and social media curation. I qualified with a 1:1 with Distinction in Modern European Languages in 2015, and from the National Council for the Training of Journalists with a Gold Standard NCTJ and 100wpm.
