Responsible for the daily P&L and monthly balance sheet reporting for the bank’s trading desks which sit within NatWest Markets• Managing NatWest’s trading position, demonstrating strong daily controls and enabling management of market risk• Maintaining strong working relationships with key customers and stakeholders, and delivering high quality and consistent financial, statutory, regulatory and management reporting outputs.• Complying with relevant policies and considering and escalating the adequacy and effectiveness of the business’s controls on a regular basis• Undertaking reconciliations, accounting, MI and control activities to support the ledger close, reconciliation, substantiation and reporting• Supporting change initiatives, process improvements and in system implementations• Preparing month-end accounting, such as journals preparation, reviews and account reconciliation• Investigating process or system issues• Supporting systems testing, such as user acceptance testing and system or process improvement initiativesSYSTEMS USED: Risk Explorer, OACS, JEDI, FinApps, Ignite, Foundry, Microsoft Office, Excel
