As Infrastructure Engineer for NHS NEL CSU, my role is to oversee the deployment and implementation of crucial business infrastructure projects for corporate clients including NHS South West London CCG, Primary Care & GPs, and Large Acute Trusts in the region. Design and formulate large scale enterprise infrastructure solutions mainly involving Microsoft 365 and Azure infrastructure. Working with teams from all departments and levels of client organizations to understand the business requirements to scope out solutions on Azure services. Defines, implements and administer the configuration of Azure IAAS and PAAS services for high availability data redundancy, data loss prevention, site recovery and resilience. Defines and implement the security architecture to ensure data security at rest and in transit, application security, key management, identity management, authentication and authorization with OIDC and OAuth2 infrastructure security with Azure VNets NSGs Administer Azure Active Directory (AAD) hybrid with on-prem AD, Windows servers, Linux server and group policy management. Deploy and maintain Azure ExpressRoute between Azure cloud and NHS Health and Social Care Network (HSCN) infrastructure. Design, deploy and monitor mobile device management (MDM) with NHS governance policies using Intune and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Help develop, implement, and monitor management information systems’ policies and controls within the cloud tenant environments to ensure data accuracy, security, legal and regulatory compliance. Prepare project status reports to engage stakeholders and assure projects’ progression trajectories Monitor performance of Azure resources and recommend any necessary actions to improve efficiency, security, and resilience of our platform Contribute to the project documentation including business cases, solution architecture, high level and low-level design, statement of work and other project documents as required.
