About Qai Gordon
My name is Qai Alexandria Gordon, pronounced \"Kai\". I was born in Los Angeles, California, and was raised in Nashville, Tennessee with my mother and two sisters. In Nashville, I attended St. Cecilia Academy, which I am forever grateful for because my opportunities there are what led me to enroll in the prestigious University of Notre Dame. I am a senior in the Mendoza College of Business majoring in Information Technology Management, looking forward to utilizing the respective technological skills at Wellington Management upon graduation. Outside of school work, I am heavily involved in the multicultural community of Notre Dame. I am the President of the Black Student Association and have expressed leadership in Shades of Ebony, Notre Dame’s Diversity Council, the Freshmen Plunge Retreat, and Notre Dame’s Welcome Weekend for First Year Students. I am also dedicated to the Voices of Faith Gospel Choir. While reflecting on all that I invest my time in outside of school work, what I value becomes evident. I find it important to make the experience of others the best it can be, which is why I am involved in activities with first year students, and I especially value aiding and contributing to the experiences of people of color. Overall, I appreciate all diversity, and strive to create inclusive and respectful environments for all.
