ABOUT QIANSHU W.

I love diving into the details of how things work, I love seeing how things can be improved, and I love solving interesting problems with cool colleagues who care. In my role at Avalon Holographics, I spearheaded research and development into cutting-edge microfabrication deposition and integration processes, playing a pivotal role in the design of components essential for creating a revolutionary holographic display. Leveraging Python and simulations, I optimized physical processes and extracted critical data for process design kit specifications. I played a critical role in designing and maintaining custom programs for the simulation of optoelectronic crosstalk in OLED arrays using Silvaco TCAD as well as data extraction, transformation and analysis using Azure DevOps pipelines. I bring a wealth of experience in microfabrication, semiconductor fabrication, display fabrication, and materials science processes. I am excited for the next chapter of my professional life with ICSPI as an application engineer and am super eager to learn more and continue to contribute to awesome projects! In my career journey, I have been in a wide variety of roles ranging from paint science to hyperspectral imaging to display design and fabrication. Three repeated lessons it has taught me, that I have constantly tried to embody, have always stood out to me: 1. There is always something skillful and interesting in the details of any work 2. Embracing constant learning isn\'t just useful, it keeps life engaging 3. It is through the kindness and generosity of people that we elevate each other In my spare time, I love baking, cooking, and am an avid practitioner of Muay Thai, the martial art of 8 limbs, having competed professionally in Thailand!
