About Pushp S. Mathur

I\'m a technology enthusiast with a wide array of interests. Currently, my main focus lies in the design of sensor fusion algorithms for navigation in launch vehicles. I have a strong experience in designing safety-critical softwares and working with real-time operating systems (RTOS). I have worked on the design of software’s for the navigation of launch vehicles, for several missions of national importance. I also have a strong background in leveraging a wide range of sensors (accelerometers, gyroscopes, sun-sensors, magnetometers) to design and implement high-precision navigation solutions. My expertise lies in translating complex hardware functionalities into efficient and robust software implementations. Coding is not only my profession but also my profound passion! Also, I love to write about space, science and life:) I possess a strong affinity for both academia and industry, drawing inspiration and knowledge from both the worlds. I have had the opportunity to teach courses on Data Structures and Algorithms, as well as Computer Organization and Architecture. This experience has provided me with a holistic understanding of software systems and significantly enhanced my ability to effectively communicate and explain complex concepts to others.

   Jan 2023 — Present

   Led the design and development of the mission-critical navigation software for the novel small satellite launch vehicle (SSLV) in C, ensuring compliance with safety standards. SSLV was launched successfully on 7 February 2023, demonstrating the effectiveness of the navigation software design in achieving accurate satellite injection while maintaining cost-efficiency.
