About Purvi Shrivastava
With ~13 years of experience in automotive software, I have grown from application development to product ownership and product management. I began with hands-on development of algorithms and software for safety-critical ECUs like Airbags, automated farming at John Deere, Body Control and Wireless Charging. My work spanned AUTOSAR & non-AUTOSAR architectures, where I built software and models using MATLAB/TargetLink, Rhapsody and Enterprise Architect. While most of my career focused on application and algorithms development, I also worked on AUTOSAR Classic development—configuring stacks, generating files, and integrating software components with EB Tresos and AUTOSAR Configurator- and contributed to software architecture in both AUTOSAR & non-AUTOSAR contexts.I have worked with Bosch, Harman (John Deere & GM), Alten GmbH (Bosch GmbH & Continental), and Scalian (Stellantis) across safety-critical ECUs, body, powertrain systems, and E/E architectures. More recently, I have been engaged in defining Base software(BSW) features for high-performance computers (HPCs) and Zonal Controllers as part of Stellantis’ Software-Defined Vehicle (STLA-Brain) initiative. What I bring:Strong technical base in Embedded C, AUTOSAR Classic, MATLAB/Simulink, TargetLink, Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect, EB-Tresos, and AUTOSAR Configurator.Experience in middleware creation, P/R port design, detailed design, and software architecture.Hands-on knowledge of CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet, and validation with MIL and SIL.Product Owner experience at Harman, applying agile practices for backlog management, story refinement, DoD and retrospectives.Product Manager responsibilities at Stellantis, defining base software platform features (ECU State Management, Power Modes, drivers support, IO Support, resource optimization, high-speed interfaces), leading feasibility discussions with architects, and creating platform roadmaps and milestones.Collaborated with the AI team to integrate their framework into STLA-Brain (QNX PVM), defining BSW and Core Platform Services like Prediction API support and AI Prediction Service integration, enabling predictive applications such as Departure Time, Slippery Road Zone, Climate ForecastingStrong foundation in ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and A-SPICE processes, with practical use of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git.Open to opportunities across embedded domains—automotive, medical, avionics, robotics, and consumer electronics—in technical, product ownership, or management roles!
