Banasthali Vidyapith founded way back in 1935, when the concept of women\'s education virtually did not exist. The founders went door to door to recruit students, there was no question of charging fees for the initial few decades. With that humble beginning, Banasthali today stands as the \'world\'s largest residential university for women, having more than students on its 950 acre campus, having a distinct ideology of \'Five Fold Education\' nurturing women leaders with strong value base. Banasthali Vidyapith aims at the synthesis of spiritual values and scientific achievements of both the East and the West. It is also the 2nd highest ranked women\'s university across the globe. Ministry of HRD through NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) has rated Banasthali with the highest possible \'A++\' grade putting the Banasthali among best universities in India.
