Led the engineering execution and infrastructure buildout of Tesla’s flagship 1 GWh battery metals recycling pilot plant in Hutto, TX. I was responsible for full scope deployment including mechanical/electrical rigging, utility hookups, building upgrades, and cross functional engineering integration. As the sole TPM, I managed project budget, schedule, vendor coordination, and field execution across Tesla and external contractors. The plant was constructed and commissioned in a record 8 months, exceeding even Tesla’s internal standards and coming under budget. This pilot plant laid the foundation for scaling domestic closed-loop lithium, nickel, and cobalt recovery critical to Tesla’s battery supply chain strategy
