ABOUT PURTI KAPOOR
I’ve been building and leading the development of mobile applications for 13+ years. I’ve worked in start-ups with a fast-paced development style, as well as large enterprises with more defined teams, product life cycles and processes. I’ve led both iOS and Android teams, while always being hands-on and growing myself in a fast paced ever evolving mobile technology space. I’ve experience in hands-on development for individual contributor roles as well as people management, managing up to 15 people reporting directly or indirectly.I independently developed and launched the Decathlon Singapore and Vietnam apps using Native Android. Currently, I lead the mobile team at Decathlon India, working across both Flutter and Native Android. I mentor and support the Flutter team in learning and building scalable modules, while staying hands-on with development. My primary focus is the Decathlon Online Shopping app, along with several other mobile applications.Achievements: I led the development of \"Glance TravelSafely,\" a groundbreaking traffic solution that earned the prestigious 2017 Breakthrough Mobile - Social Impact Award. Additionally, I collaborated with a UK-based company to develop a SaaS product, which was honored with a Stevie Award in the International Business Awards 2016.
