As a Founder of a Farm to Retail startup, I developed and tested a business model across Bihar and Jharkhand to offer high-quality agricultural products to rural retailers at improved margins. I established a packaging unit to process and package spices and agricultural products, and established backward and forward linkages to ensure a consistent supply of commodities.In my role as a Young Professional with BRLPS, JEEViKA, I worked with 1 million women-led self-help groups in Bihar to implement a socio-economic empowerment program. I successfully piloted the Rural Retail Shop (RRS) intervention and scaled it to different parts of Bihar. I developed policy guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOPs), training materials, TORs, and RFPs. I also facilitated the development of a web-based and app-based inventory management system, central monitoring system. I established partnerships with companies, distributors, and Farmer Producer Companies to ensure the supply of daily essentials and acted as a liaison between different stakeholders.I served as the Block Project Manager, handling both administrative and financial aspects of the Block Project Implementation Unit, and overseeing the mapping, implementation, and monitoring of various livelihood interventions. I also achieved convergence through various government projects.As an Assistant Manager at Indian Overseas Bank, I managed a loan portfolio of Rs. 100 Cr, conducted credit appraisals of loan applications and made recommendations for approval, ensured compliance with all lending regulations and procedures, monitored loan repayments and debt settlements, and loan renewals. I also served as the IInd Line Manager, assisting the Branch Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch, guiding and inspiring the service team, addressing staff and customers issues and resolving conflicts, and cultivating positive customer relationships.
