About Punit Marathe
I am a pharmaceutical scientist and leader with 30 years industry experience ranging from drug discovery to life-cycle management. My expertise is in risk-benefit assessment of new drug entities as they advance from early discovery to preclinical and clinical characterization. I have broad exposure to all aspects of ADME, pharmaceutics and safety assessment of small molecules and biologics. I am passionate about application of translational ADME and PK-PD for human dose projections. I have successfully managed large groups of scientists at multiple geographic locations including India.During my industrial tenure, I have been closely involved in advancing over 100 new molecule entities in multiple therapeutic areas including Oncology, Immunology, Neurosciences, Virology, Metabolic and Cardiovascular diseases. I particularly enjoy training and mentoring junior scientists.
