ABOUT PUNIT KUMAR JHA
I am currently working as a Senior Research Scientist at SandboxAQ. My research is on protein-ligand and protein-protein (antibody-antigen) complexes using A.I to predict structure via co-folding, docking followed by binding-affinity calculations using FEP methods. I use and develop methods in deep learning models like NeuralPlexer, AF2, AF3 and OpenFold. Earlier, at Good Chemistry, I worked on developing and using quantum chemistry methods in a cloud-based quantum chemistry SaaS product called QEMIST cloud. I received my Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (June 2021) working in the lab of Prof. So Hirata. My research work was on condensed-phase chemical theories and computation.
