One of the primary reasons many contractors, property developers and home owners choose PVC Ceilings, is the fact that once installed, it is totally maintenance free and pretty much unaffected by damp and water. No more worries about messy damage to ceilings when a pipe or geyser bursts. Because PVC Ceilings and PVC Suspended ceilings come in a wide range of colors and textures, it offers the opportunity not only to replace a ceiling for ceilings sake, but also enhance the overall appearance of any house, room, corridor or bathroom. Due to the excellent insulation properties, the PVC composition of the ceiling panels, offer effective insulation helping to reduce energy costs. This is because of the hollow core structure of the ceiling panels. This simply reduces head transfer. This also offers some added benefits such as the perfect sound insulation. In damp and typically moist areas such as the bathroom and corridors where Fire Safety Pipelines are installed, it is quite common to see mildew and discoloration of conventional ceilings appears, particularly in the winter months. That means that conventional gypsum ceilings need to be cleaned chemically and more often than not, repainted. This is not the case when choosing PVC Ceilings and PVC Suspended Ceilings as the material is waterproof, moisture proof and does not offer mildew any chance to develop. Due to the tight interlocking nature of the PVC Ceiling panels, dust is kept at bay and will not seep or cannot penetrate the PVC panels.
