Do you have the ethic to return the million-dollar found on the road? I would definitely return the money. There is nothing more valuable to me than my morals. I tend to be an honest, trustworthy and a law-abiding person. These morals are very necessary at a workplace. You are put in dilemmas many times during your work period which tests your morality and work ethics. As a third year university student pursuing accounting, these morals will play an even more important role. Accountant are tasked with keeping the company in compliance with the rules and regulations put in place for a principled functioning of the business. I will need to be unbiased while keeping the interest of the company in the mind with my mathematical and analytical skills. The accountants need to follow the framework where they look at how the company’s functionality affects the profits, planet and people. Only a trustworthy and honest person can fulfil this role. The morality will guide the company to become a law and societal regulations abiding organization which operates not only for the profits, but for the betterment of the community around as well.
