About Pulkit Velani
I am a dedicated Structural and Earthquake Engineering expert passionate about developing disaster-resilient infrastructure. Currently, I lead the Specification Team at MIDAS India, where I integrate Indian and South African structural codes into MIDAS IT software to ensure the safety and resilience of infrastructures. Before joining MIDAS, I was a PhD scholar at the Earthquake Engineering Research Centre, specializing in Structural and Earthquake Engineering. I hold a degree of MS by Research and BE in Civil Engineering from and Mumbai University, respectively.My expertise includes structural health monitoring, earthquake-resistant design of RC buildings, analysis and design of tall buildings, and non-destructive testing. Additionally, I have hands-on experience in earthquake disaster management and have conducted numerous site visits to assess seismic safety.I am always eager to connect with like-minded professionals and explore opportunities to contribute to innovative engineering projects.
