I’m currently at a remote rural clinic in Pavones, southern Costa Rica—a place where I spent much of my childhood. As I begin my journey into medicine, I’m gaining both clinical experience and medical knowledge by observing patient care, assisting the physician, and learning directly from the local doctor. It’s an incredibly meaningful opportunity to learn hands-on while giving back to a community that helped shape who I am.
