ABOUT PHILIP TAN
Seeking roles in medical affairs (e.g. medical science liaison, patient advocacy) or Research & Development. Passionate about discovering and developing new therapies to improve the lives of people suffering from disease. Expertise in in vitro and cell-based assay development, applied to oncology, fibrosis, and many other disease areas. Diverse background enables me to quickly learn new research areas and therapies. Broad experience in work environments ranging from a start-up to large pharmaceutical companies. Core competencies:• Effective team member or supervisor.• Collaborations with outside experts in academia, CROs, and other patient advocates. • Excellent communication skills (scientific/medical writer, writing for patient advocacy, and experienced oral presenter).• Broad expertise in cell culture techniques, molecular biology, and assays for measuring drug pharmacology and cell biological processes.
