Department of Cancer Biology- Led multiple high-impact projects investigating the biology and therapeutic potential of exosomes in cancer, including their role in intercellular communication, DNA cargo transfer, and immunomodulation-Conducted a genome-wide CRISPR/Cas12a screen to identify novel regulators of exosome uptake in cancer cells, integrating flow cytometry, NGS analysis, and bioinformatics to uncover actionable targets- Designed and executed mechanistic studies on CAR-T cell–derived exosomes, profiling their therapeutic cargo and demonstrating cytotoxic effects on B-cell lymphoma in vitro and in xenograft mouse models- Developed a barcoded DNA-exosome tracking system to study horizontal gene transfer and applied focused CRISPR knockout libraries and single-cell sorting to dissect functional consequences- Supported drug development efforts by characterizing tumor microenvironment responses in KRAS G12C/D–mutant pancreatic cancer models- Regularly collaborated across disciplines and mentored junior trainees, fostering a productive and innovative research environment.
