ABOUT PRERIT TERWAY
AI researcher and engineer at P-1 AI, where we\'re building AI that reasons about physical engineering systems. My work focuses on post-training LLMs with reinforcement learning on grounded physics data, generating large-scale synthetic datasets for training, and developing evals for engineering reasoning. I also build GNN-based surrogate models for fast design space exploration and memory architectures for LLM agents. PhD from Princeton in inverse design and explainable AI under DARPA\'s Symbiotic Design program. Publications in TCAD, ACM TECS, and Nature Biomedical Engineering.
