ABOUT PANAYIOTIS S. MALAMIS
I am a Senior in DePaul University\'s Strobel Honors Accounting Program and will be graduating in June 2026 with CPA eligibility. Selection for the Strobel Program reflects my strong academic performance and ability to excel in rigorous coursework from the outset of college. My success has been driven by strong time management, disciplined study habits, and a collaborative approach to working in teams.As an Orthodox Christian, I have served the Church in many capacities from my youth which led me to gain an interest in Byzantine music. I have spent the past decade studying and practicing Byzantine chanting, an experience that has shaped my personal and professional growth. Through this work, I have developed skills in teaching others, leading and managing teams with diverse abilities, and learning from the wisdom and experiences of my mentors.I am planning to enroll in the Master of Divinity program at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Seminary in Brookline, Massachusetts, in Fall 2026, with the intention of pursuing the priesthood. I expect to grow in the faith and Church established by Jesus Christ and further understand the life and teachings of His Church through prayer, fasting, and study of the Holy Fathers.
