As the technology and strategy leader, I’ve been driving the transformation of Radisys from the embedded space towards being a disruptive software and cloud-centric provider of open telecom solutions. With my team, I developed the strategy to identify, adopt and integrate a broad range of Open Source and cloud technologies for building commercially deployable 3GPP/5G, PON and real-time media processing networks.I\'ve been involved with embracing a number of Open Source ecosystems and projects related to software defined networking (Linux Foundation & ONF), Data Center transformation (CORD), Open Compute Project (OCP), RAN virtualization (O-RAN, SD-RAN) and Edge Computing (LF Edge). Using these ecosystems as base platforms, my teams have delivered solutions to a range of service providers world-wide including Verizon, Deutsche Telekom, and Reliance Jio (as examples).
