Responsibilities include definition, design, logical modeling, and physical implementation of relational and dimensional databases, primarily using Microsoft SQL Server.• Development of logical and physical data models for Data Marts and Data Warehouses using best practices.• Consulting with various Business Stakeholders and participate in requirements elicitation and user story mapping with the business and technical SMEs to understand their data use case and reporting needs.• Extract Transform and Load data from Sources Systems to Azure Data Storage services using a combination of Azure Data Factory, T-SQL and U-SQL Azure Data Lake Analytics. Data Ingestion to one or more Azure Services -(Azure Data Lake, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Azure DW) and processing the data in In Azure Databricks.• Data loading to Data Lake from different sources using Azure Data Factory.• Creating Pipelines and Scheduling jobs using Azure Data Factory• Data Loading to Datamart and other destinations from Data Lake using Data Bricks.• Monitor Data Warehouse infrastructure and Business Intelligence scheduled processes and identify opportunities to make enhancements and managing SSAS instances that were present on Azure Virtual Machines.• Analyzing complex data from multiple sources, responsible for detecting problems with the database and suggesting improvements that will have immediate impact.
