About Prudence Pollard
As the Vice President and Dean of the School of Graduate Studies at Oakwood University, I oversee multiple academic and administrative functions, such as research and grants programs, faculty development services, online degree programs, institutional research, and graduate education. I have been in this role for over 12 years, leading and supporting various initiatives and projects that enhance the quality and impact of graduate education at Oakwood University. I am also a tenured Professor of Management, with more than 15 years of teaching and mentoring experience in the fields of evaluation, measurement, research design, management, and leadership. I have a PhD in Evaluation, Measurement and Research Design from Western Michigan University, and the MPH in Public Health Nutrition from the University of Michigan School of Public Health. My mission is to advance the knowledge and practice of evaluation, research, and grants administration, and to foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration among faculty, staff, students, and community partners.
