About Derek Gatta
Dr. Derek Gatta, a highly accomplished Prosthodontist, hails from Newport, RI. He obtained a BS in Neuroscience from Vanderbilt University in 2003 and went on to complete his dental education at Nova Southeastern University in 2009. During his time in dental school, Dr. Gatta was awarded a scholarship with the US Navy, which led to his dedicated service in the Dental Corps for eight years. He underwent a General Practice Residency (GPR) at Camp Pendleton, CA, and further pursued his education with an MS in oral biology and a certificate in Prosthodontics at the esteemed Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.Dr. Gatta’s professional journey also included deployments in Bahrain and Newport, RI, before ultimately settling in South Florida, where he now maintains a thriving private practice in Boca Raton. Dr. Gatta is highly esteemed in his field as a board-certified Prosthodontist and a diplomat of the American College of Prosthodontists. He remains an active member of several prestigious dental organizations, including the Academy of Osseointegration, ITI, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.In 2019, Dr. Gatta partnered with Dr. Terry Max in a dental practice in Boca Raton, Florida. The practice has grown to be renowned for solving complex dental cases, including implants, veneers, and full-mouth rehabilitation. Upon the retirement of Dr. Max, the practice was rebranded to Innovative Dental Aesthetics, specializing in complex rehabilitations-In addition to his successful dental practice, Dr. Gatta recognized a need for products that naturally strengthen, whiten, and remineralize teeth. RiseWell was founded to offer his patients a line of products with 100% safe, natural alternatives that clean and protect oral health.
