As a Core Portfolio Management Apprentice in Fundamental Equities, Prosper works alongside the PM’s and is the link between the investment team and key stakeholders. As an apprentice he is a generalist however his role contains equity order raising, cash management, performance attribution and further portfolio maintenance. He began in the Global Emerging Markets team and now sits on the European team.

What makes a person stay down when all odds are against them can be what makes another rise and choose to overcome. In all ways, I’ve walked out this quote without even knowing but mastery has always been a focus. This is a path to being temperate in all things and striving for the mastery with every opportunity I find myself in. Never giving in to doing the bare minimum or producing below the meters I set has allowed me to continue where others have given up and so with full courage and strength I can press for the higher calling. A novice cannot remain a novice for long, so diligence, discipline and consistency mould a person into one of great stature - elevating from the starting point. Like Aeneas, we are all on a journey and making your way forward is the only guarantee of fulfilling that which we must.Finance and investment portrays a mixture of metals that at the right temperature can either fuse together or separate. Finding the right balance of strategies, predictions and studying is my focus as I aim to play a great role in all things I do whilst learning where given the opportunity to.
