Highly efficient lawyer licensed to practice in Nigeria (and currently undergoing the Ontario Bar lawyer licensing process) with a background in corporate/commercial law practice and litigation, and a demonstrated history of working in the legal and financial services space — experienced in legal drafting, legal research, cross-border contract review & negotiations, advocacy, legal compliance/risk mitigation, corporate law, commercial litigation, and client satisfaction. When I’m not lawyering, I am writing, doing hobby-photography, or outdoors exploring/protecting the endless thrills of nature in Eastern Canada or elsewhere. Some of my creative works have appeared in international publications of poetry, photography, essays, and stories such as Fox Spirit Books UK, Afritondo, Active Muse, Lunaris Review, Wreaths for a Wayfarer Anthology, and elsewhere. Interestingly, some of my works have been reviewed to intersect with my professional interest in the area of sustainability. One of my poems,\'Home-bound Dancers\' was the second runner-up for the June 2019 Collins Elesiro Prize for Literature (with my short story, ‘The Night She Saw the Sun’ having been long-listed for the same prize), and on the other side of events, I have also had the privilege of serving as a juror for the 2022 Island Literary Awards (The Scott Parsons category).
