For over 40 years, I have dedicated my career to creating, growing, and leading businesses that bring novel health or environmental technologies and solutions to market. Many of my roles have been key leadership and executive positions, managing sales, marketing, and business development efforts in North America, Europe, China, and Japan, yielding a unique blend of experience and expertise that straddles a range of entrepreneurial disciplines, including sales, marketing, strategic planning, leadership development, and executive management. Across four decades of business cycles, three continents, and successive generations of technological change and innovation, I have a proven track record in taking new products and businesses that improve human health and the environment from idea to strategy, and from strategy to market.An experienced entrepreneur, I have always had a passion for the chaos of startups, finding the balance between the vision it takes to identify the connections and relationships between innovation and markets that others do not, with the management and operational skills to successfully bring those technology solutions to market. Although I have held a range of roles and led a number of different companies and initiatives during my career, my work has had one common and unifying theme: helping new businesses and organizations to determine the best way to use their value to help customers solve problems.Currently, I am helping Halomine Inc. bring their innovative antimicrobial technology to healthcare facilities, commercial businesses, institutions, and consumers. Halomine keeps surfaces germ free longer than disinfectants alone and can turn every surface into an antimicrobial coating. Serving as its Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Halomine is the sixth new business I’ve helped to lead over the course of my career, following successful stints that included, Empire State Health Solutions, IDEX, Rheodyne, Inficon, AT & T Capital, and US Analytical Instruments.I am always looking to connect with others who share my passions for startups, the outdoors, and service to our communities.

The company’s unique proprietary combinations of specialty molecules and polymers are customized to provide prolonged antimicrobial efficacy to a wide range of surfaces and materials. Halomine’s unique solutions can not only protect against pathogens for weeks or months, but also make surfaces easier to clean, resist adhesion, prevent fouling, and inhibit the formation of biofilms.
