ABOUT VINCENT ONG

I am a Professor of Business Education with over 25 years of experience in visionary academic leadership, innovative curriculum design, and transformative learning across diverse higher education institutions. My career has been defined by a deep commitment to teaching and learning excellence, the development of innovative pedagogical frameworks, and continuous institutional improvement.My work has consistently spearheaded strategic curriculum reforms as my expertise lies in the curriculum development and innovation, especially in business education and curriculum, as well as in pioneering of transformative pedagogical frameworks and approaches, such as Challenge-based Learning.I am a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), with extensive experience as an External Examiner and PhD examiner. My leadership in transnational education spans roles in Hong Kong, Singapore, and the UK.As a respected scholar and thought leader in emerging technologies and business intelligence in higher education, my research has secured national and European funding, informed institutional policy, and contributed to global academic discourse in conferences and panel discussions. My international engagement and collaborations in my research and scholarly activities reflect my commitment to advancing knowledge through research-informed teaching, applied institutional research, and impactful scholarly activities. In January 2025, I spoke at two of the discussion forums at the Davos Lodge, an exclusive haven for the world’s most influential thought leaders, in conjunction with the World Economic Forum in Davos.I am committed to reimagining business education for a new generation!
