ABOUT MICHAEL WANG

Michael Wang is now the head of business development, Phillips-Medisize China. The key role is to oversee and manage the continued growth of our programs which focus: a) Lead in the communication of short and long-range strategic plans that align with the overall business, sales and marketing goals of the company, b) Define markets and current products with large revenue potential, c) Lead sales efforts to achieve sales targets in the assigned therapeutical class in China, d). Identify technology trends in markets that should be developed into Phillips Medisize strategic capabilities Phillips-Medisize\'s program in China work within four innovation platforms: Drug delivery devicesConnected health, Medical devices, and Diagnostics. Michael has more than 30 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry with different position. Before joining Phillips-Medisize, he served as Country Director at PATH since 2016 and managed overall business in China. Before joining PATH, he served as Business Director at Gerresheimer since 2010 and managed prefillable syringe business in China, Korea and Taiwan. Prior to that, he oversaw pharmaceutical system at Becton Dickinson in China, Taiwan and Southeast Asia since 1997 and led first-ever introduction of glass prefillable injection concept and plastic auto-destructive prefillable injection concept both in private and public market. This resulted in the prefill concept being well-accepted in areas of vaccines, anti-coagulants, Biotech drugs, plasma product and anti-cancer drug. Meanwhile, Prefillable syringe has been listed into China national standard. Michael has extensive experience and knowledge in marketing, sale, quality, finance, regulatory and supply chain. Michael hold bachelor degree of pharmacy from West China University of Medical Sciences and EMBA from Peking University.
