ABOUT ANNE OSBOURN FRS NAS
Anne has over thirty years of experience in international research science, both as a practicing scientist and in senior management and leadership roles. She is also a poet. Her poems have been published in poetry magazines such as The Rialto, Orbis, The Lighthouse, Smiths Knoll, and Amberflora. Her first poetry book Mock Orange (published by SPM Publications) was a winner in the 2018 Sentinel Poetry Book Competition. She has recently completed a new poetry collection centred on Rockall, a tiny rock around 230 miles off the west coast of Scotland, and is currently looking for a publisher for that. In 2006 Anne founded the SAW Trust, a charitable organisation to support the development of the Science, Art and Writing (SAW) program, a science education initiative for schools - Specialties: Scientific research and management, entrepreneurship, poetry, science education
