ABOUT ARIANA C.

Mrs. Ariana Caragliano is the Chief Advancement Officer at Yellow Ribbon Fund, primarily responsible for development and fundraising. Prior to this role, she served as the Communications Director. Before entering the veteran nonprofit sector, Mrs. Caragliano was the Academic Program Specialist for the Office of Academic Initiatives and Strategic Innovation at The Graduate Center of the City University of New York, supporting the development of non-credit and for-credit programs, courses, events, evaluations, and strategies for a wide range of new programming at The Graduate Center. Mrs. Caragliano continues to teach in a part-time capacity as a Psychology lecturer at Medgar Evers College and has been teaching at CUNY since 2007.Mrs. Caragliano earned her Master of Science in Neuropsychology in 2017 and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. John\'s University in 2007. She received her Emergency Medical Technician license in 2009 and is currently a PhD candidate in the Neuropsychology program, mentored by Dr. Joshua C. Brumberg, the Director of Brain, Behavior, and Cognition Doctoral Programs at The Graduate Center. Her research aims to understand the precise connectivity and developmental patterns between the cerebral cortex and thalamus by identifying the morphological and physiological properties of neurons originating in layer V of the rat barrel cortex that project to the posterior medial nucleus of the thalamus.Mrs. Caragliano has volunteered at various establishments, including Elmhurst Hospital\'s Child Psychiatric Unit, Long Island University Hospital, Great Neck Physical Therapy, and East Rockaway Fire Department. Her professional memberships include the American Psychological Association, Society for Neuroscience, Barrels Society, the Association for Women in Science, and the American and New York Civil Liberties Unions.
