ABOUT HADI LARIJANI
Hadi Larijani received his BSc.(Hons) in Applied Math in Computer Science from Sharif University of Technology Tehran, Iran in 1994 and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Heriot-Watt Univ. Edinburgh, UK in 2006. He is a Professor of Computer Networks and Intelligent Systems in the Dept. of Cyber Security and Networks in the School of Computing & Engineering and Built Environment at Glasgow Caledonian University. His research interests lie in performance evaluation of computer networks (wired & wireless), Quality of Service(QoS), Quality of Experience (QoE), Cognitive radio Networks, Voice over IP (VoIP), Wireless Sensor Networks, Intelligent Systems, Modelling Complex Dynamic Systems using advanced AI and machine learning techniques, and Building Energy Management Systems. He has over 100 journal, conference, book chapter publications; and two international patent applications. He has had over a 3 million pounds worth of grants in the areas of VoIP, Sensors, Building Energy management Systems, RF-Energy Harvesting, and Ultra Low Power Wireless Communications, and digital health.
