ABOUT YELDA TAYYARECI
I have been working as a cardiology consultant for over two decades, specializing mainly in preventive cardiology and cardiac imaging. My expertise encompasses structural heart diseases and advanced echocardiographic techniques, including 3D echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiography (TOE), strain imaging, TAVI, Mitra clip procedures, and intraoperative TOE for valve repair. Furthermore, I possess substantial experience in preventive cardiology, sports cardiology, and cardio-oncology.In addition to my clinical practice, I have a robust background in clinical research, having authored over 60 peer-reviewed publications. I have dedicated more than a decade to teaching medical students and hold a postgraduate degree in Medical Education from Cardiff University, School of Medicine. Furthermore, I am honoured to be a fellow in the Advanced Higher Academy since 2021 and a fellow of ESC since 2023.
