ABOUT VIRANJAY M. SRIVASTAVA

SRIVASTAVA received his Ph.D. degree in the field of RF microelectronics and VLSI design, Master’s in Microelectronics/VLSI design, and Bachelor in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. He has worked for the fabrication of devices and development of the circuit design. Presently, he is working as in the Department of Electronic Engineering, Birmingham University, UK.He has more than 20+ years of teaching and research experience in the area of VLSI design, RFIC design, and analog IC design. He is a Professional Engineer (PrEng) of ECSA, South Africa, and various technical societies membership including Life member of Senior Membership of & SAIEE, Member of IET(UK), IITPSA, Royal Society of South Africa (RSSAf). His research group has 11 Post-Doc fellows, 15 Doctorate, 17 Masters (Engineering), 10 Masters (Project management, based on AI, etc.), and 41 undergraduate honors students in the area of Electronics Engineering (used in Electrical/Computer/Telecommunication Engineering) with the design of switches and its application in communication systems. His career total 8 Patent and its articles, 2 Books, 13 Book and magazine chapters, more than 180 refereed (ISI/SCOPUS) Journal articles, 140 Conference papers etc.), During 20•••••25-year span), I was ranked at 57th in the list of UK researchers (among 500+ researchers and Electrical and Electronic Engineering) on the basis of publications by Scopus dated June 2023. Also, I was ranked at 16th Published Researcher (out of 500+ researcher) in African Continent (57 Countries) by Scopus/SciVal dated June 2022. National Research Foundation (NRF) South Africa has granted me an Established Researcher (C3) title from 2023 to 2028. In 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021, respectively, I received the JW Nelson Top Performing Researcher Award in the School of Engineering (2022/23 outcomes are awaiting), and in 2016 (6th position), 2017 (1st position), 2018 (1st position) and 2019 (1st position) awarded with Top 10 Young Published Researcher in UKZN, Durban. Also, in 2017 (5th position), 2018 (2nd position), 2019 (5th position), 2020, and 2021 (7th position), respectively, I was one of the Top 30 Published Researchers in UKZN, Durban (2022/23 outcomes are awaiting). In 2017, 2018, and 2019, I received the Best Lecturer Award at UKZN, Durban.
