ABOUT SUMAN KUMAR DAWN

Prof. Dr. Suman Kumar Dawn holds an MSc degree in Mathematics from IIT Kharagpur, an MBA (Marketing), and a PhD from the University of Burdwan. He is also NET (in Management) and GATE qualified, as well as a research fellow at the ICSSR in New Delhi, which is funded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India. The areas of interest of Dr. Dawn are Marketing Management, Marketing Research, Strategic Management, Research Methodology, Quantitative Techniques, Statistics, International Marketing and Operations Research. He has accumulated 22 (twenty two) years of teaching, research, administration and industry experience. He has 30 publications in referred national and international journals and has attended numerous international and national conferences and seminars. He was the Head of the Department of Centre for Management Studies at JIS College of Engineering before joining Asia Pacific Institute of Management in New Delhi ( Autonomous, AICTE approved, NAAC and NBA accredited). He also serves on the editorial boards of several national and international journals. He has the distinction of having served as Head Examiner of reputed Universities and Institutes in Management Sciences, as well as having worked as an External Examiner and Paper Setter for various Academic Institutions. Currently, he is associated with Calcutta Business School (A Unit of Shikshayatan Foundation) since 2017 as the Principal, Chairman - PGDM Programme and Professor in Marketing.
