Highly motivated professional with more than twenty three years of experience as a researcher, consultant, educator and academic administrator. Specialized in the fields of environmental science, management and sustainability, developing and disseminating technologies related to cross cutting areas such as climate change, waste management, application of beneficial microorganisms in agriculture and waste water management at rural and urban interface in Maharashtra, Haryana, Rajasthan, U. P. and M. P. states of India. Dr. Seema has conducted several funded and consultancy R&D projects with sponsorship from government (DST, BRNS, MPCB), non government (ATREE, MMREIS etc.) and premier industries in last 23 years. Skilled to design need base research programs with successful implementation and application in multi stakeholder and interdepartmental structures. She has served as an expert member at State Knowledge Centre of Maharashtra on Climate Change and certified expert in Environment Management and Sustainability. Academically astute and highly qualified professional teaching at postgraduate level in the areas of Environmental sciences, Compliance, Climate Change, Sustainability (GHG accounting, circular economy, LCA, CSR, ESG etc.), Ecosystem Services, Biodiversity etc. Ex. member, Board of Studies, Environmental Sciences under University of Mumbai. Have authored 5 books and more than 80 research papers in international and national journals. Ex.
