ABOUT MOHD IMRAN

Prof.(Dr.) Mohd Imran is a distinguished legal scholar and academic leader, currently serving as Professor of Law at MANUU Law School, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (A Central University, under Ministry of Education, Government of India), Hyderabad. His academic journey, spanning teaching, research, and governance, is defined by an abiding commitment to institutional excellence and values. He has previously served as Professor and Director (Academics) at the University Institute of Legal Studies, Chandigarh University, Professor and Director, School of Law at Sushant University, Gurugram, and as Professor and Associate Director at Shobhit University, Meerut, where he played a seminal role in establishing and nurturing the law school. He was also instrumental in the establishment of the School of Legal Studies, Chandigarh University, Unnao (Uttar Pradesh).Prof. Imran specializes in Constitutional Law and Criminal Law, with a growing scholarly inclination towards Law & Technology and Human Rights. Prof. Imran has consistently strengthened academic culture and team-building across institutions through effective leadership and collaborative governance. He has led national and international academic events and competitions, developed curricula and academic frameworks aligned with reputed national and global institutions, and played a key role in steering academic governance and quality assurance systems.A committed mentor and researcher, he has supervised the doctoral scholars and published widely. He has led and coordinated UGC, NAAC, BCI, and ISO inspections and accreditation visits, ensuring statutory compliance and academic rigour. Guided by a deep social conscience, he views law and education as enduring instruments of justice, reform, and social transformation.
