The Peking Union Medical College Hospital (PUMCH - ca. beds) has been repeatedly elected for first ranking in china with respect to scientific performance as well as outstanding quality of medical care. As part of a cooperation project of the Institute of Social Medicine, Rehabilitation Sciences and Healthcare Research (ISRV) at Nordhausen University of applied Sciences with the Clinic for Psychosomatic and Psychotherapy of Freiburg University (Germany) and PUMCH, which is supported by German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), chinese physicians and psychologists are trained in psychosomatic medicine twice a year in Beijing. Additionally cooperational research projects are conducted (as part of the psychosomatic sino-german-research network). I am responsible for the organisation of this cooperation project.
