About Lydia Edwin
Dr. Lydia Edwin completed her undergraduate degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Post graduate degree in Power Electronics & Drives. She did her Ph.D. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences. She was a Post-doctoral fellow in the Dept. of Electrical Engineering, Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Israel.She is serving as Professor & Head in the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore. She was an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at SRM University, Delhi NCR from April 2019 to May 2020. Prior to that, she also served in Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences for more than 18 years. During her tenure at Karunya, she served as the Assistant Controller of Examination for 3 years, Head of Pre-Engineering Programme and also the Coordinator of CBCS. She also served as Coordinator of Academic Research and Deputy Director for Centre for Sustainable Energy Sciences and Technology. Her areas of interest include Renewable Energy Technologies, Smart Grid and Power Electronics Application to Power System. She has publications in well reputed journals like Transactions and Elsevier.
