About G. Edwin Prem Kumar

Dr. Edwin is a passionate academician and a vibrant researcher. He has completed his B.E. degree in Information Technology from Madurai Kamaraj University. He did his M.E. degree and Ph.D degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Karunya University. He served Karunya University, Coimbatore for 15 years. During his tenure there, in addition to teaching, he also held several positions at the University level in the capacities of Academic Affairs Coordinator, University Research Coordinator and Assistant Controller of Examinations. He was at SRM University, Delhi NCR, Sonepat, Haryana as Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.His areas of research include Security in Wireless Sensor Networks and Smart Grid Networks. He has several publications in Elsevier and other reputed peer reviewed Journals. He is a recognized reviewer of Elsevier Journals like Computer Communications, Computer Networks, etc. He has traveled to several countries including China, Singapore and Israel for presenting research papers and to initiate international research collaborations. He is a Senior Member of Life time member of Computer Society of India (CSI) and International Association of Engineers (IAENG).He is currently serving as Professor in the Department of InformationTechnology, Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore.
