I am a Professor of Metamorphic Petrology at the Department of Geology, Banaras Hindu University, with over three decades of research and teaching experience in high-grade metamorphic terrains. My core research focuses on ultra-high temperature metamorphism with particular expertise in reaction textures, thermodynamic modelling, and phase equilibria.I believe in using geosciences to explore Earth’s deep-time history and inspire and nurture the next generation of scientists.
