ABOUT ALEX MOUZAKITIS FRENG
Prof Alex Mouzakitis FREngBSc (Hons), MSc, PhD, EngD, FREng, CEng, FIET, FInstMCProf Alex Mouzakitis is the Director of Continuous Delivery for Quality and Compliance (CDQC) at Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) and Industrial Professor of Automotive Systems at WMG, University of Warwick. He has over 25 years of technological and leadership experience, particularly in the area of automotive systems. In his current role, he is responsible for the delivery of vehicle integration and the software test engineering factory across all JLR vehicle lines. Additionally, Prof Mouzakitis oversees the delivery of R156 compliance for all software releases (plant, service, and SOTA), including the execution of Digital Product Platform projects aimed at driving customer satisfaction and modern luxury through exceptional engineering and robust product quality.In his previous roles at JLR, Prof Mouzakitis served as Director of Digital Product Trust and Compliance, Director of Vehicle Cyber Security & Software Update, Chief Technical Specialist for Systems Engineering, Head of Vehicle Engineering, Infotainment and Connectivity Research, Head of Electrical, Electronics and Software Engineering Research, and, prior to that, Head of Model-Based Product Engineering.Prof Mouzakitis is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering (FREng), a Chartered Engineer (CEng), and a Fellow of both the Institution of Engineering and Technology (FIET) and the Institution of Measurement and Control (FInstMC). He is currently the Industry Chair of AESIN, a UK-based community that supports the innovation and development of the UK\'s automotive electronics and software systems. He has published over 140 scientific papers in international journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings. He is a registered STEM ambassador, supporting local communities and inspiring young people to pursue STEM subjects in their careers.Prof Mouzakitis holds an EngD in Automotive Embedded Software Development from the University of Warwick, a PhD in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence for Autonomous Vehicles from the University of Wales, an MSc in Systems and Control from Coventry University, and a BSc (Hons) in Integrated Manufacturing Technology from the University of Wales.
