As a GIS Manager for the National Rural Water Association (NRWA), I lead and manage the GIS team and ensure the effective use of GIS technology throughout the organization. My expertise includes implementing ArcGIS Server 11, leveraging Safe Software FME for advanced ETL and spatial processing, providing spatial analytics to identify communities of need using data from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). I analyze spatial data to support decision-making processes, and use GIS to identify areas where water and sanitation services are most needed. I also train staff on GIS software and techniques, and work closely with federal programs to integrate GIS data into their workflow. With my strong technical skills and leadership experience, I am able to effectively manage projects and deliver accurate and timely GIS solutions to meet the needs of NRWA.
