Founded PrepLinc to fix the career guidance gap I experienced as an engineering student. I lead the product\'s architecture and development, translating our vision of a peer-powered ecosystem into a functional, user-centric platform.My focus is on transforming unstructured student experiences into clear, actionable guidance. Here\'s how:Core Platform Development: Architected and built the web application from the ground up using Next.js, TypeScript. I designed the backend data models to effectively link users to their interview experiences, roles, and companies.Structured Content System: To provide real value, I designed the system that allows students to submit their interview journeys. This includes fields for the exact interview questions asked, the resources they used, and project details, creating a structured and queryable database instead of just a simple text post.Building a Trusted Community: Engineered the authentication system with a mandatory institutional email verification. This technical choice is the foundation of our platform\'s biggest asset: a trustworthy community where all content comes from verified students at specific colleges.Initial Traction & User Validation: Led the internal beta launch at IIT Dharwad, which validated the core problem and our solution. We achieved 30+ verified users and over page views within the first three days and received strong positive feedback from the institute\'s E-Cell for the platform\'s potential.
