I’m a backend and platform engineer with over 8 years of experience in building distributed systems at scale. At Walmart, I’ve led key initiatives across US Stores and Tier 0 Associate Services platforms—powering systems that process over a billion messages daily and support 1.6M+ store associates.I was responsible for designing and developing the Ingestion Module for the US Stores Platform, supporting 150+ real-time data pipelines and processing over 1 billion messages per day. I led the migration from a VM-based architecture to a distributed, cloud-native model, significantly improving scalability, resilience, and operational efficiency. I also built a fully self-serve onboarding framework that reduced manual integration effort by more than 60%, and designed a ControlPlane to streamline deployment and manage platform lifecycle evolution.I\'m currently focused on re-architecting legacy monoliths into modular, microservices-based systems that support 1.6M+ associates across Walmart stores. As part of this effort, I’m designing a DAG-based transformation engine using Spring Boot and Apache Camel to enable dynamic, scalable production flows. I’m also actively building a ControlPlane for flow visualisation, versioning, observability, and end-to-end deployment automation—aimed at improving developer agility and platform reliability.I enjoy solving complex backend and platform-scale challenges, with a strong focus on clean architecture, production readiness, and mentoring engineers to build resilient systems with full lifecycle ownership.
